Genie, I just read about your Mom’s passing away. I lost mine, too, Elena Salazar Gomez Grimaldo, age 93, on November 6th, 2009 in Arlington, Tx., but I brought her body for burial at South Park, by my son, Alfredo. I know we are never ready to lose our mothers, but they lived long, happy lives. Your Mom was a very happy person. I would often see her with our friend, Esther Bustamante. They liked to go to dinner and listen to Mariachis. One time I was there with my brother and mother, and they heard me sing. I am so sorry, Your friend, Maria M. B.
