Obituary of Helen Roanna Friday

Helen “Rona” Roanna Friday, 46, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Conley Friday, Jr. Rona is survived by her father, Larry Conley Friday, Sr. and wife, Carolyn; mother, Charlotte Friday; son, Eddy Brown; daughter, Natosha Friday and husband, Kody Reagan; grandmother, Roanna Finley; grandchildren, Konley and Kassydi Reagan; beloved family friend, Rodney Pittman; and a host of other family and friends. Rona enjoyed horses, country and western music, nature and being outdoors. As a child, she loved gymnastics and barrel racing and was extremely talented at both. Rona later went on to serve as a committee member for the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo. She was a Nascar fan and could always be seen rooting for her favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson. Rona had a wonderful sense of humor and could bring joy and laughter to every situation. She cherished spending time with her family and adored every opportunity she had with her grandchildren, Kassydi and Konley. Rona will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Rona will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home with Pastor David Villejoin officiating.
