Obituary of Felix Dean Whatley

Felix Dean Whatley, 75, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Ethel Whatley; sons, William and Michael Whatley; daughter, Lynn Whatley; and brother, Harley Whatley. Felix is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Virginia Whatley and beloved granddaughter, Amy Lynn Whatley Seymour; and a host of other family and friends. Felix was a man of great faith that was happily involved volunteering and serving at New Hope Church. He was great with his hands and enjoyed making many woodworking projects. Felix was an excellent provider and role model for his family working for over 43 years for H B & T Railroad. He and Virginia enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and always to visit their granddaughter. Felix will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation and funeral service for Felix will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 am and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 with Pastor Howard Agnew, of New Hope Church officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
