Obituary of Gary Dean Lowrey

Gary Dean Lowrey went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in League City, Texas.

He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.  Gary was born January 30,1956, in Greens Bayou, Texas.  He was always known as a hard worker, both during his time working in the oil field industry and as a heavy machine operator.  He loved fishing, hunting and gambling at the casino.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Arnold Lowrey, mother Mary Cobb, wife Jonne Lowrey, sisters Theresa Edwards and Carolyn Buntyn.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Rachel Tucker and her husband Jason, granddaughter Courtney Tucker, brothers Fred Matthews and Phillip Wilson and several nieces and nephew.

A service celebrating life will be held Monday, October 21, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm at Clayton Funeral Home, in La Porte, TX.
