Obituary of Linda Fae Snipes

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Linda Fae Snipes was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1954, and passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Anyone who knew Linda knew she was a hard worker and fully dedicated to whatever she involved herself in. Even when life introduced its stresses, in and out of the workplace, she simply used it to thrive. She loved to cook for local daycares as well as the Bayshore Hospital cafeteria in Pasadena, Texas.

Outside of Linda’s work-life she enjoyed spending nights at the bowling alley, making ceramics, and on some special occasions spend a little time gaming. Most importantly however, she enjoyed every moment she spent with family and special family friends she made throughout her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Lela Mae (Grissom) Massey; brother, Olen Ray Massey; and sisters, Joyce Marie Massey, and Doris Ann Massey.

Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Snipes; father, Morris Massey; sons, Jason Snipes & wife, Kristy, and Chadwin Snipes; granddaughter, Amber Lynn Huff & husband Joshua; and great-grandson, Nathaniel Alexander Huff.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, and family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, in La Porte, Texas.

A funeral service for Linda Fae Snipes, 69, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Bro.
