My name is Sandy Eubanks. I met Carolyn several years ago when my Daddy and Mom were residents at Elmcroft Assisted Living, later Braeswood Estates. Until the Covid pandemic I spent several hours every afternoon with my parents there. My Daddy passed away there in April 2019 and Mom passed away there on Thanksgiving Day 2022. For the 2 years of the pandemic my doctors did not allow me to go into the facility so I did window visits every afternoon. Before the pandemic Carolyn and I talked a lot, about the Lord and about life. She was such a joy! It was the activities director who introduced us because I am a Messianic Jewish Believer and Carolyn was interested in praise dance/flag ministry. Carolyn wanted to know about Messianic Judaism, especially about the Jewish holidays, festivals and celebrations, especially how Messianic Jewish Believers celebrated them with Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) at the center of them. We talked, we shared scriptures, I gave her books. I still have taped on my desk at home a note she wrote and gave to me. This is what she wrote ... "Sandy, Psm 103:3,5. KJV ... healeth all thy diseases ... youth ... renewed like the eagles ... Shalom: nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing lacking." As I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven I remember her with fondness and love.
