Debbie I will never forget the times you compadre Chito and I got together to have breakfast or lunch at your house or mine. Always enjoyed each others company especially the times we spent in Sargent and ending the day having dinner at Lubbys. Love you always and will miss you

I worked with Debbie at HCPC in the Psychology Services department for almost a decade. She always had a smile, no matter what pressures we had at work back then. She kept us in line with stern but motherly care so we stayed out of trouble! She was great at organizing get-togethers, office parties, and any excuse to have a party!
I have not seen Debbie in years but all the memories we had together at the office will remain with me forever!
I want to send my personal condolences to her family. I met Eric, her youngest son back in the 90s and took him to a couple of Astros games. Eric, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Q: How did you meet Debra?
A: I, Delia Gallegos met Debbie, when i was a young girl...back in grade school. She was friends with my older sister Edna Gallegos, and her boyfriend back then Elineo (Neno) Garcia , who was Jesse my older brothers friend. Neno came to become her husband of many years. Debbie & Neno were friends with my entire family. Debbie was always laughing, happy person overall. Our prayers go out to Ray & Eric. May our Lord Jesus continue to comfort our hearts with everlasting peace as we remember the memories.
With love always, The Gallegos Family

Debra Lynn you will be missed immensely! You were always the light when entering a room, spoke from your heart, had the best smile and laugh that could lift anyone's spirit. Brightened every occasion, and were everyone's 'Confetti' . Rest in Peace, continue to watch over the family and have the best time ever reuniting with all your family that had gone before you.

Deepest of sympathies during this hard time of loss. Your mom, mother-in-law, and grandmother found her way into the Interstate Batteries family through her son, Eric Garcia. May your memories of Debbie give you strength and may the love of your family and friends help you through the coming days. Although I didn't know her, she must have been a wonderful woman because she molded Eric into a wonderful man.

Q: How did you meet Debra?
A: I met Debbie because several of our members were also clowns. Jerry Bitner asked Debbie to come to one of our Red Hat lunches. Because we wear Red hats she was a fan and after a couple of meetings decided to join our group. Every time she came she was always decked out with plenty of bling. She contributed to all our discussions with her own personal opinion. Because she loved her grand children one time when she was hostess she asked everyone to bring their grandchildren along for lunch. The last time she was hostess she bought everyone a gift, plus she had made cookies, and chocolate strawberries. There were enough to take home at the end. I forgot, she bought me a child's wand since I was the queen of our chapter when she became a member. I will treasure her memory because she was such a loving and awesome woman and friend.

Nana had a beautiful and kind soul. She always cared about anyone that may have been around her no matter the circumstance. She has taught me that family doesn’t always have to be by blood, but rather those who surround you with love and compassion. She always stood bright and smiled as bright as she could. She found joy even in the darkest moments in life. May she rest in peace with the light. She will forever be cherished and loved by all.
