Obituary of Dan Richard Prigmore

Dan Richard Prigmore, 63, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Dan and Frieda Prigmore; brother Dieter Prigmore; and sisters Thelma and May Prigmore. Left to cherish his memory are his son John Prigmore; daughter Carolyn Prigmore and husband, Erik Scott; brother Jay Prigmore; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild, ex-wife, Karen Kapeller; and step-daughter Donielle Dickerson.

Dan was a wonderful, loving father and grandfather. He was a hardworking man and known as a Jack of all trades, plumbing, electrical, mechanic, construction. He could do it all! Dan was always ready to help, especially those who needed it the most. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Dan loved anything to do with the outdoors and he loved spending time around the water. He was a great fisherman. In his spare time, when he had the chance, Dan loved to crochet. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and was always cracking jokes even to the bitter end. Dan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held for Dan at a later date.
