Obituary of Meredith Irene Minor
On Thursday November 10th, 2022, Meredith Irene (Jackson) Minor entered eternal rest at the age of 68.
Meredith was born on October 17, 1954, in Eugene, Oregon.
She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Luyten, Father Henry Luyten, her birth Father James Jackson, and sister Becky Chagoya.
Meredith is survived by her four children, Debbie and husband Joe Barlow, Amy and husband Greg Carter, Shelsa Minor, Blake and wife Megan Minor; sister, Gina Mock; brother, Scott and wife Gloria Luyten; her grandchildren, Bradley, Taylor, Anna, Mason, Katelynn, Jacob, Katelyn, Faith, Hayley, Hunter, Justen, MerrieAnne & Blake Jr; 13 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends who adored her.
Meredith was passionate about her family. No matter the circumstances she would always be there to lend a hand or an ear to whoever needed it. She made it a point to show up for every event she could from birthday parties to sporting or graduation ceremonies. She loved making memories with her children and grandchildren. She would often find time to spend some one-on-one time with each of them and take them out for some sort of entertainment, whether it was camping, shopping, seeing the state Capitol of Tx, or taking them to a concert in the Woodlands. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that she instilled in all of them.
Meredith never met a stranger and had lifelong friendships as well as newer friendships with so many that became part of her extended family. They would always be there for her whether it was friends from church helping her get back and forth to appointments, or friends from her favorite wineries that she adored spending time with.
Meredith was a member of Kleinwood Church of Christ in Spring TX which she attended as often as she could either in person or virtually.
