Obituary of Maria Carmen Alvarez

Maria Carmen Alvarez, 67, of Houston passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Those left with cherished memories are her husband of 49 years, Jose M. Alvarez; sons, Carols Alvarez and wife, Reina and Mario Alvarez and wife, Nancy; seven brothers, one sister and grandchildren, Keiry, Christian, Jessica, Carlos, Jammy and Allison as well as a host of many other family and friends. Preceding Maria in death are her parents. Maria was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend that cherished spending time with loved ones. She had a servant’s heart that was always willing to help others in need. Maria was a hard-working woman that fought all her life. Family was extremely important to her and she loved traveling back home to enjoy her roots. Maria will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Maria will be held at Clayton Funeral Home Chapel, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will take place Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
