Obituary of David Wayne Cobbs

David Wayne Cobbs, 54, of Pearland was born in Houston, Texas on August 30, 1964 to T. F. Cobbs, Jr., and Dorothy Marie Becker Cobbs and passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 in Houston.  Preceding David in death are his wife of 28 years, Brenda Sue Cobbs and father, T. F. Cobbs, Jr.  Left to cherish his memory are his, mother, Dorothy Cobbs; daughters, Meaghan Cobbs and Shelby Burns and husband, Jonathan; grandson, Weston Burns and brother, Terry Cobbs and wife, Linda and a host of other family and dear friends.

David was a Godly man that loved the simplicity of life. He was hard working and family oriented.   He enjoyed old western movies, old rock music and going to the beach.  His grandson Weston (or as David like to call him pawpaw’s buddy or buddy bud) was the light of his eyes.  Spending time with Weston was his most favorite pastime. His gentle spirit and witty way will always be remembered in the hearts of those he loved.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate David’s Life will be on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Tx. 77581.
