Obituary of Mary Ann Aaron

Funeral Service Friday, Aug 03, 2018 12:00 PM Mary Ann Aaron July 27, 1922 - July 31, 2018 Mary Ann Pieper Aaron, 96, of La Porte, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018. Mary Ann was born July 27, 1922 in Moulton, Texas. Mary Ann was one of eight children raised in several farming communities in south central Texas. She met and married the love of her life, Lloyd Aaron, on January 25, 1943, and they had two children, Eugene Lloyd and Wanda Ann. They built a house and settled in La Porte where they raised their family. Mary Ann worked in retail for many years while Lloyd was employed as a welder. She was a long-time member of the first Baptist church of La Porte and had many hobbies such as sewing, gardening and decorating their home. Later in life, she became a doting grandmother of her many grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and made dolls and played cards to entertain the children. Her beloved husband, Lloyd, preceded her in death on May 10, 2008. Also, predeceasing her was her much-loved little Pekingese dog, Pumpkin. Mary Ann is survived by Dr. Eugene and wife Pauline, and their children: Alison Davis and husband Brad, Dr. Kyle and wife Crystal, Jordan Fickessen and husband Chase, Rita Nicolini, and Elizabeth Nicolini. She is also survived by her daughter Wanda Hancock and husband Ken, and their children: Christopher and wife Irene, Gregory, Brittaney, and Bradley. She was also great grandmother to: Delaney and Cullen Davis; Kalani, Keanu and Kylie Aaron; Wyatt Fickessen; Emily Hancock; Brianna and Benjamin Hancock. Mary’s funeral service will be Aug 3, 2018 at Paul U Lee Funeral Home in the Chapel at 12:00pm. The visitation will be at 11:00 until service time at 12:00. Interment will follow after to the Grandview Memorial Park in Deer Park, TX
