Obituary of Charles Edward Coach

Charles Edward Coach, 76, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, August and Anita Coach; brother, Anthony LeBlanc; and sisters, Rose Upshaw and Virginia Anderson. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Margaret Coach; stepsons, Richard Schmidt, Carl Schmidt and wife, Rachel; stepdaughters, Kathleen Pearl and husband, Fred, Ramona Story and husband, Dave; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Charles loved nature and enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was fishing, camping or spending time in the mountains. He shared his love of travel and photography with Margaret and they had many wonderful trips together. Charles truly had a servant’s heart and was always looking for ways to help others. He served as a Deputy Sheriff for Harris County as well as a paramedic for the Pasadena Fire Department. He also served as a paramedic for the D.P.S. and taught heavy duty rescue at Texas A&M for the D.P.S. Charles had a brilliant mind and loved learning and teaching. He will forever be remembered for his kind and friendly nature as he never met a stranger. Charles will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service for Charles will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Chaplain Marek Czarnecki officiating.
